Each of the filter housings uses 2 O-rings for extra protection against leaks.

Filtration Process

1st Stage – 5 Micron Sediment Filter (Clear Housing)
Removal of mud, scale, rust, slime, hair, algae etc down to a nominal 5 microns.

2nd Stage – 5 Micron Activated Carbon filter
Removal of chlorine, chloroform, pesticides, sulphates etc. Improvement in taste colour and odour.

3rd Stage – 0.5 Micron Carbon Block Filter
Removes micro-sediments, chemicals and Giardia

Note: Filters remove and store contaminants and when they reach saturation can unload into your drinking water. Please change filters every 6 months.
