The Triple Filter Unit has an extra carbon filter than most other undersink units and this feature allows for better quality colour, odour and taste of your drinking water.

Each of the filter housings uses 2 O-rings for extra protection against leaks.

Filtration Process

1st Stage – 5 Micron Sediment Filter (Clear Housing)
Removal of mud, scale, rust, slime, hair, algae etc down to a nominal 5 microns.

2nd Stage – 5 Micron Activated Carbon filter
Removal of chlorine, chloroform, pesticides, sulphates etc. Improvement in taste colour and odour.

3rd Stage – 0.5 Micron Carbon Block Filter
Removes micro-sediments, chemicals and Giardia

Note: Filters remove and store contaminants and when they reach saturation can unload into your drinking water. Please change filters every 6 months.

These Triple Filter Units are assembled in Queensland from quality components imported from an ISO 2001 Listed Company and use NSF Quality filters.

Carbon is a very versatile and highly effective water treatment medium. It has immense surface area. Approximately half a kilogram of carbon contains a surface area of over 50 hectares (0.5 square kilometers). It is the best known treatment for organic chemicals, volatile organic chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, chlorine and its by-products. It is also an unchallenged taste and odor improver. When arranged in solid carbon or extruded carbon block format it provides very high quality particulate filtration in some cases down into the submicron level.

As carbon removes impurities by absorption cartridges need to be replaced regularly. For a household system this is normally up to 1 year.
