With low energy consumption the UF-PRO saves money on power and can even run on solar if needed. What’s more, where gravity flow is available the supply pump can be completely eliminated saving even more.

Long-Life High Performance Ultrafilters

At the heart of the UF-PRO are the proven MEMCOR® high permeability, low fouling PVDF hollow fiber membranes used by thousands of membrane plants globally. These membranes effectively disinfect primary water by removing pathogens and particulates to supply safe drinking water from the majority of non-saline surface and ground waters.

Patented ECO-FLUSH Self-Cleaning Process

The key feature for successful operation of the UF-PRO is the effectiveness of its patented backwash process, which uses low-pressure aeration to maintain a clean membrane surface even with highly turbid, feed waters.

This unique process air scour cleans the filter membrane during cleaning cycles. Not only are filter membranes refreshed but also the system lasts longer particularly when the process is augmented periodically with a chemical clean or CIP (Clean In Place) to remove residual fouling.
