Filtration Process

1st Stage – 5 Micron Sediment Filter
Removal of mud. scale, rust, slime, hair, algae etc down to a nominal 5 microns.

2nd Stage – 0.5 Micron Carbon Block Filter
Removal of chlorine, chloroform, pesticides, sulphates and Giardia etc. Improves the taste, colour and odour of the drinking water.

Note: Filters remove and store contaminants and when they reach saturation can unload into your drinking water. Please change the filters every 6 months.

These Twin Filter Units are assembled in Queensland from quality components imported from an ISO 2001 listed Company and use NSF quality filters.

When arranged in solid carbon or extruded carbon block format it provides very high quality particulate filtration in some cases down into the submicron level.

As carbon removes impurities by absorption cartridges need to be replaced regularly. For a household system this is normally up to 1 year.
